Sometimes a game is so shit that there just isn't a man of the match. Why can't TV pundits, match day sponsors etc just be honest and stop pandering to footballers ego's and admit this, we're not idiots, well not all of us, just tell it how it is, shit game, shot performance, all players must do better, must try harder, give the champagne to someone who deserves it more, a supporter perhaps whose just paid through the nose and had to sit through 90mins of that utter crap.

He'll be here next year. He's safe.
The board have gambled with the stadium and can't afford to gamble on a different manager through fear or another Avram Grant.

There's no way they're going to keep this cunt on next season, I dont think they can afford to if they want to fill a big stadium the season after.
Dread to think who they're going to replace him with though.

We had lots of boring floaty boring pentasa boring entries that bored the absolute fuck out of me. I'd be surprised if they even recorded them and didn't abandon any statistical measuremt of performance and declared it so uninteresting nobody would care anyway.
The only memorable thing today was adam Johnson.

It WAS a pop at the Observer? It obviously wasn't at you as you didn't watch it.
And i'm not arguing that it wasn't a shit match, just that Sunderland didn't deserve a win...

1. Sit back. 2. Defend well. 3. Slow build up. 4. Waste time. 5. Floaty crosses from geezers on their wrong peg. 6. Sit back. 7. Keep tight. 8. Play slowly. 9. Nick a scrappy goal. 10. Sit back. 11. Done on the result and not performance. Try and blame fans somewhere in it.

West Ham 1-0 Sunderland: Sakho late show saves dismal Hammers
Match Analysis: Abysmal Game Unfairly Decided by Awful Refereeing Decision
Sakho saves Sam’s bacon
and the best one....
West Ham and Sunderland played out what had to be one of the more pointless periods of 90 minutes in human history.
In light of this crime against football, here are FIVE things more interesting than today’s game:
